What to stuff

A kong or similar is best for this recipe as it’s very runny.

Soft dried apricots (the ones which are still a bit moist)

Fat free plain yoghurt

How to stuff it

Chop the apricot into relatively small pieces (ie small enough that your dog won’t risk choking on them) and use one to bung up the small hole at the base of the kong.

Spoon the yoghurt into a bowl and mix with the rest of the apricot, setting one of the larger pieces of apricot aside.

Spoon the yoghurt/apricot mix into the kong so it reaches the top, rest the piece of apricot you set aside on top of the mix (so your dog will get some immediate reward and because it looks pretty!).

Keeping the kong big-hole-side-up, pop it into the freezer for at least 2 hours before giving it to your dog.

Other info

This is a messy one, so best consumed outside!
